This story takes us to Glasgow, in Scotland, where we talked to Peter McKenna, chef and co-founder of The Gannet, and Kevin Dow, restaurant manager.

For this team, it is essential to maintain a Scottish feel to the place, which they integrated with fine dining. As the manager Kevin Dow puts it, they want to make everyone feel welcome, and they do so by building strong relationships with the guests, the staff, and everyone they work with, including suppliers and farms. For them, everyone they work with is an extension of the Gannet family.

Recently they decided to go for an all-in-one platform to stop wasting time putting all information together and start focusing on providing the perfect guest experience.

We had a chat with them to understand how Superb became part of the family by helping them provide personalised guest experiences.


What problems were you having before discovering Superb?

We are finally able to simplify our daily operations by gathering all our tools in one place while using data to provide each guest with a personalised experience. The all-in-one platform enables us to save time by making every step we take more efficient and easier.

Why did you choose to partner with Superb?

Our restaurant is built on relationships whether it’s relationships with me and my partners, with our staff, with our team, with our suppliers. It’s very important to have these close bonds and Superb is just another extension of that family.


What is different about Superb compared to previous systems you have used?

I’m used to working with 4 or 5 different platforms and collating all the information. It’s time-consuming and it takes away from concentrating on the guests and the dining experience.
