What’s new and updated in September

It was a busy summer with a ton of product updates and features. Here are a few of our favourites. Each one is designed to help you work more effectively, efficiently and easily.

Here’s what’s new and updated in Superb’s GXM. 

Customise your booking link button

You asked. We listened. 

You can now fully customise the button on your booking site. From ‘Reserve a table’ to ‘Enter our world’, what you say is completely up to you. 

Make comments on items without making extra trips to the kitchen

With the latest update to the POS app, you’ll be able to communicate easier with the back-of-house on any individual line items. 

Any comment you add goes directly to the kitchen printer — not the final guest bill. So all of the action behind-the-scenes stays behind the scenes. 

And if the guest changes their mind and doesn’t want oat milk in their latte? No problem. Before sending to the printer, comments are quickly removed with one tap.

Streamline communication between front and back-of-house 

Flexibility and the restaurant industry go together like white on rice. To give you more flexibility, servers can now control when to hold and fire orders.  

On the kitchen printout, your team will see which items are waiting (so they’ll know what to expect) and what to start on now. That means you’re better able to give guests the dining experience they want.

An easier way to fire all items 

With this latest improvement, you can fire all items instead of having to tap them one by one. The new FIRE ALL button automatically selects all items and lets you send them to the kitchen at once.

Stay up-to-date with the latest updates 

In addition to these latest updates, we’ve also launched a way for you to stay in the know on the latest product features and fixes. 

From the platform, open the Chat function in the bottom right-hand corner. Here you’ll find ‘Announcements’ — the place where we post new features and improvements to the platform.
